Not Your Moms Cloth Diapers

Cloth diapers, cloth diaper covers, cloth bed wetter pants, and cloth diaper accessories have come along way from when I was a little girl (just ask my mother!) There were no cloth diaper Wet Bags or Pail Liners, much less cloth diaper soakers! Today, cloth diapers are so easy to use and long lasting. There are cost effective options that can help stretch those tight baby budgets.

AIO Diapers make the switch from disposable to cloth easiest. No pockets to stuff, and no separate covers. AIO stands for All in One, meaning it is a cover and a diaper all in one for easy quick diaper changes.  AIO's need to be purchased based on babies size, from newborn to toddler..

One Size Diapers are like the AIO diaper in that they do not require a separate cover, it is a complete system. What sets apart the one size diaper is the ability to fit from newborn to toddler.  Snap systems allow the diaper to be adjusted as the baby grows which results in buying less diapers over the years.

Pocket Diapers  are also a complete system just like the AIO diapers but are stuffable.  This means the diapers dry faster after washing and that the soaker absorbency can be adjusted for the child.  Many people prefer to use a pocket diaper for night time because the ability to double up on the soakers and eliminate middle of the night diaper changes. Available in sizes from newborn to toddler.

Prefold Diapers are the original cloth diaper and are the most economical way to cloth diaper your child.  Available in both bleached and unbleached these diapers are a workhorse diapering option.  As you wash your prefolds they get softer and more absorbent.  These diapers require folding and a separate diaper cover to prevent leaks and optional fasteners.

Fitted Diapers are a wonderful option for those that can not afford any of the complete diaper systems but are intimidated by prefolds.  Fitted diapers have snaps or Velcro fasteners are made out of various fabrics and come in a variety of absorbencies.  Available in sizes from newborn to toddler these diapers require a diaper cover to prevent leaks.

CONTOUR DIAPERS - Contour Diapers are hourglassed shape and made to contour to baby. They are a mix of both prefold and fitted, sewn in layers, shaped to contour to the baby's body without the need for folding. They do not have the need of elastic at the waist or legs. Contour diapers boast a trim fit and are secured around baby with diaper pins, snappi fasteners, or a cloth diaper wrap. Contours have an advantage over a fitted because as baby grows, it grows with them. (No snaps or velcro to limit adjustability). It has an advantage over the prefold as it is less bulky and no folding is required. These diapers require a diaper cover to prevent leaks.

All inventory is shipped from Flint, Michigan. We do not have inventory in Rochester but we do provide a local support system for moms with cloth diapering problems.

If you want a hands on cloth diaper demonstration of our products, we are more than happy to meet with you. If you are within an hour of Flint, Michigan, or live in surrounding areas such as Fenton, Swartz Creek, Saginaw, Ann Abor, Lansing or the Detroit area, we will be happy to set up a time for you to come out and see our inventory and discuss your needs. All demos are by appointment only.
